Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how SimplStudios ('we,' 'us,' or 'our') collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage us for services. By using the site or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

When you contact us, fill out a form, book a call, or engage our services, we collect information you provide directly, which may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Business name and website
  • Industry, goals, budget, and project details
  • Messages or information you choose to send us
  • Billing information (handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)

We do not intentionally collect IP addresses or use cookies for tracking from our own infrastructure. Note that the third-party tools described in Section 4 may collect such information independently when you interact with their features on the site.

1.2 Information from clients

When we deliver marketing or website services, you may grant us access to your systems and data, including your leads, customer contact lists, CRM records, analytics, ad accounts, and similar information. We process that information on your behalf and according to your instructions, solely to provide the agreed services.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes;
  • Schedule and conduct sales or strategy calls;
  • Deliver, manage, and improve our Services;
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., onboarding, project updates, invoices);
  • With your permission, send occasional marketing emails about our work (you can opt out at any time);
  • Maintain records, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information: performance of a contract (delivering the Services you requested); our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business; your consent (e.g., for marketing emails); and compliance with our legal obligations.

4. Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate our website and serve our clients. These providers act as our service providers / processors and may receive personal information necessary to perform their function:

  • Meta Pixel — used on the website for advertising analytics and audience building on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Meta may collect information directly from your browser, including device and usage data, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Go High Level (GHL) — our customer relationship management, scheduling, and marketing automation platform. Information you submit through forms, schedulers, or that we manage on behalf of clients may be stored in GHL.
  • Lovable Cloud — the platform that hosts this website and powers backend functionality such as databases, authentication, and serverless functions. Information submitted to the site may be stored on Lovable Cloud infrastructure.

Each of these providers maintains its own privacy and security practices. We encourage you to review their policies for details on how they handle data.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only:

  • With the service providers listed in Section 4, as needed to operate the site and deliver Services;
  • With our clients, when the information was collected on their behalf (for example, leads generated through campaigns we run for them);
  • With professional advisors (accountants, lawyers) under duties of confidentiality;
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property or that of others;
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

6. Client data (when we act as a processor)

When we process end-customer data on behalf of a client (for example, leads, contact lists, or CRM records inside that client's Go High Level account), the client is the "controller" of that data and is responsible for the lawful basis and notices provided to those individuals. We process such data only as instructed by the client and only to perform the agreed services. If you are an end customer of one of our clients, please contact that business directly to exercise your privacy rights.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, maintain business records, and comply with our legal obligations. In practice, contact form submissions, client project records, and related communications are retained indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them or unless a shorter period is required by law. You may request deletion at any time using the contact details below.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including relying on reputable hosted platforms for storage and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, email simplstudiosbusiness@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

10. Children

Our Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Site, you consent to such transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Site after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
